After completing her undergraduate degree at Syracuse University, Amy returned to school to receive her master of Social Work from the Silver School of Social Work at NYU.  She continues her psychoanalytic studies at The Ackerman Institute and NYU School of Continuing Education. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Amy currently works as a Therapist at Fifth Avenue Counseling Center in New York City and has a private practice in New York City and Southampton, New York. Prior to this, Amy was affiliated with Washington Square Institute. She did her training at the DOROT Homelessness Prevention Program in NYC working with homeless seniors in advocating for benefits and securing safe housing. She is a volunteer for NY COVID CARES, providing pro bono support to frontline COVID workers and first responders and their families. She is certified by New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

I am an experienced Therapist practicing in New York City and Southampton, New York with extensive clinical training specializing in treating adults with depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, grief & loss, transitions, relationships and work related stress. My approach is to provide a safe, empathetic and warm environment to support personal exploration and growth. I help clients work through complex emotions, challenge negative thinking patterns and develop new coping techniques.
